NetGrab Privacy Policy

Overview

NetGrab is an Android browser and download manager published by Valegran Studio. NetGrab does not include developer-operated analytics, advertising, or user-profiling services. The app does not sell personal data.

Data stored on your device

• Browsing history, bookmarks, home shortcuts, and site preferences are stored locally.
• Private tabs are not added to persistent history and are not restored after restart.
• Download names, progress, destination, and error information are kept locally so you can manage transfers.
• Media conversion happens on the device. Temporary files are removed after completion, cancellation, or failure.
• Website cookies and WebView storage are managed by Android WebView.

Network access and the open web

NetGrab connects to pages and media sources that you choose to open. Those websites receive normal network information such as your IP address, browser user agent, and request headers, and may handle data under their own privacy policies. Valegran Studio does not control third-party websites.

When you start a download or conversion, cookies, the referring page, and the user agent may be sent to the selected media host when required to complete your request. NetGrab may temporarily keep these details on your device so an active transfer can resume.

The app periodically downloads documented third-party filter lists to provide ad and tracker protection. NetGrab does not use those requests to create a user profile. Filter sources and licenses are documented with the application.

Permissions

• Internet and network state: to open pages, update protection filters, and perform downloads.
• Notifications and foreground services: to show active download and conversion status.
• Files and folders you select: to save output only to a location chosen through Android's system picker.

Your controls and retention

You can remove browsing history, bookmarks, site permissions, and download records from within NetGrab. Files saved to a location you selected remain there until you delete them. Clearing NetGrab's Android app data removes local preferences and WebView data. Because Valegran Studio does not maintain user accounts or a server-side user database, there is no developer-held account data to request for deletion.

Media use

NetGrab is intended only for media you own, license, or have explicit permission to save. The app does not attempt to bypass digital rights management or access controls and does not offer media from known subscription or streaming services for download.

Age requirements

NetGrab is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. Valegran Studio does not knowingly collect personal data from children through NetGrab.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when NetGrab's features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
